About BellyPassion & Xiomara
By training, Xiomara is an instructor and professional performer of Middle-Eastern dance. She formally started her training at the Mid-Eastern Dance Exchange (MEDE) in Miami Beach, Florida. She was trained by Belly Dance Superstars Tamallyn Dallal, Bozenka, Ansuya, Amar Gamal, Jillina and Jennifer Nahas. She has also furthered her studies with several other internationally recognized Master Teachers: Yousry Sharif (Egypt), Tito (Egypt), Raqia Hassan (Egypt), Mahmoud Reda (Egypt), Amr Thaleb (Argentina), Nasra (Egypt), Ahida Nour (Egypt), Karim Nagi (Egypt) and Asmahan (Egypt).
Xiomara's professionalism and authentic middle-eastern dance style continue to capture the attention of many media services, both in Print (such as People, and Dance Magazine) and on Live TV. Her most recent TV appearances were featured on the David Letterman Show (CBS), Deco Drive (Fox), Univision, Telemundo (NBC), America TeVe, and Azteka TV.
In February 2007, Xiomara was an invited guest at the presidential palace in Dubai, UAE, performing at the royal Wedding Ceremony for the Princess, and sharing stage with famous Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. Her National performance invitations have taken here to New York and Detroit and Internationally to locations such as Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Colombia, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Egypt.
Currently, Xiomara is the Director of Bellypassion, an entertainment agency that has been providing and show productions since 2005. Some of our clients include: Red Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Baptist Hospital, University of Miami, FIU, Nova University, Univision, Telemundo, America TV, Hyatt Hotel, Trump and Newport Beach Hotel.
